Welcome to my art journey!
 
My studies in art began at the University of Arizona when I was 7 years old.  While my dad took classes in the School of Architecture,  I  learned the art of cartooning and drawing and that was the beginning of my passion for Visual Art.  I later attended college and  received a degree in Graphic Design and furthered my studies by private instruction for 10+ years with portrait artist Kenneth Horowitz of Marblehead, MA. 

My art reflects the colors of my childhood  from the New England coastline, to the brightly colored desert.  I work both in “Plein Air “ as well as from photos and I paint the people and places where I feel God’s presence.  Each painting is  inspired by my journey and my studies of different people, places, cultures and religions. 

I believe that art is an expression of the soul and it is my hope that my creativity inspires your creativity.
